The 6th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast presented by the Shorewood Foundation is Shorewood’s signature street festival from the 4200 to the 4400 blocks of Oakland Avenue. This is a family-friendly foodie event with free entertainment and activities for every age. There will be music, entertainment, a harvest dinner, artisans, and more!

STREET CLOSURES
We would like to remind residents and businesses along Oakland Avenue from Wood to Kensington (see map on back) that they will need to park their cars outside the permit area if in/out access is needed. There will no parking on Oakland Avenue from Wood to Kensington in addition streets will be closed off to traffic with barricades on Olive, Marion and Lake Bluff. Please be sure to obey temporary no parking signs to avoid tickets and towing!
KID ZONE – NOON – 4:00pm
The Feast is family-friendly with lots to do for the young ones. All of our activities below are FREE, so come and enjoy! Our generous sponsor for the kid zone is courtesy of Metro Market. Be sure to swing by and check out the fun activities throughout the day:

HARVEST DINNER – Tickets to go on Sale the 2nd week of August
A meal in the middle of Oakland Avenue, seating 125 people! This year our guest chefs include Luke Zahm (Driftless Cafe), Adam Pawlak (Egg & Flour), Alex Hanesakda (Sap Sap), Ruta Kahate (Ruta’s Fresh Indian Fare), Kevin Sloan (Pabst Theatre Group) & Joe Muench (Black Shoe Hospitality).
If you purchased tickets for this year, stop by the Shorewood BID Volunteer tent (Blue Tent near Huntington Bank) to pick up your wrist band at least 30 minutes before dinner.

SHOREWOOD BID BEER TENT
Stop by the Shorewood BID Beer Tent sponsored by Shorewest Northshore on the corner of Marion and Oakland Avenue for a taste of Third Space Brewing specials along with Sprecher Root Beer. Liquid Death water will also be available for purchase throughout the day.
NORTH SHORE BANK TENT
While visiting the Feast, event attendees can discover, play, and explore at the North Shore Bank Virtual Reality Experience. Stop by to see them while stepping into their new, free Virtual Reality Experience in their patio lounge area. The VR Van experience offers three immersive 360° environments designed to engage the senses and spark curiosity. It’s completely free, fun, and showcases the possibilities of one’s best life. From tranquil forests and city streets to an underwater world, event attendees can explore environments that transport them across land, city, and sea. Guests can also take a break and unwind in bank’s lounge area or expel some energy playing lawn games like Connect 4, Bag Toss, and Jenga.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Events like this cannot happen without volunteers. We are looking for help setting up, general support throughout the day and grounds cleanup after the event is over. No heavy lifting involved- just bring a smile, your love of community and being involved in this great new event . Help is also needed serving for the harvest dinners in the middle of Oakland Avenue.
