While we have a number of projects and programs in our plans, we continue to focus on our events the 20th Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic, the 5th Annual Shorewood Feast and Shorewood Winterfest, as well as expanding our outreach and communication. Take the Village Survey on Historic Preservation
What is the best path forward to continue the work imparting the importance of historic preservation in Shorewood? The Village Board needs your help by taking this survey. The results will guide the Village Board on what methods and policies should be pursued for our community. The Village Board enlisted the help of UniverCity Year (UCY), a partnership between UW-Madison and Wisconsin local governments, to create this tool.
Surveys are due by Thursday, January 25th at Noon. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to provide input. Your response to the survey will help direct the Village Board’s discussion and next steps.

Snow Removal Reminder
Just a kind reminder, now that winter has finally arrived, to make sure all sidewalks and crosswalks in front of your business are adequately shoveled/cleared within 12 hours of a snow event (§466-27 A). This includes corner ramps to the crosswalks for property owners/businesses with corner lots. As the temperatures drop prompt removal is kindly requested.
