Shorewood Business District News – July 2022

The 3rd Annual Shorewood Feast is right around the corner!  Stop on over to the 4200 – 4400 block of N. Oakland Avenue on Saturday, September 10th, from Noon – 9:00pm to enjoy a family-friendly community festival with kids area, vendors, artisans, entertainment – including headliner Radio Radio on our North Shore Bank Main Stage and the not-to-miss family-style harvest dinner with some local amazing chefs! The Shorewood BID is so very grateful of the amazing community support at our lineup of events through the year.  Without volunteers, these events can’t happen, which is all the more reason to sign up!  We are looking for help setting up, general support throughout the day, grounds cleanup after the event is over and serving at the harvest dinner! No heavy lifting involved- just bring a smile and your love of community!

John Ludwig, Owner, Riley’s Sandwich Co., has over twenty years of progressive leadership experience focused in hospitality and facilities management in both corporate and public settings.  His community focused spirit is a huge asset to Shorewood and the BID.  

Cara Crafton, Owner, Crated Hair Group originated from Houston, Texas with over 20 years of experience in the salon and beauty industry.  Her and her daughter moved here to make Shorewood her home both personally and professionally.  Cara believes that the success of any business begins with engagement in a supportive community.

Chris Tinker, Owner, Three Lions Pub has been in Shorewood for over 18 years.  He enjoys the vibrancy and unity of the neighborhood and his continuous engagement solidifies his commitment to the community.

FREE Shuttles from the Milwaukee Brat House to State Fair

The Milwaukee Brat House Shorewood will have FREE shuttles everyday of State Fair August 4th – August 14th.
