19th Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic

The 19th Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic, organized by the Tour of America’s Dairyland, will be coming up before you know it!
Summer is (hopefully) just around the corner! Please join the Shorewood Business Improvement District (BID) on Friday, June 23rd from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm for this fun one-day event showcasing riders from near and far! Shorewood riders are already gearing up to race and local families are getting ready to host national riders for the 11-day long event!
Races of this caliber could not happen without support of the community and many great volunteers. Shorewood has always risen to the challenge of putting on one of the greatest races in the series and this year is no exception!
The Shorewood BID significantly relies on sponsorships from local individuals and businesses to bring this event to the community. In return, we are able to partner with our sponsors to provide unique exposure opportunities. Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day
Get ready for some fun and festivities on Saturday, March 11th in Shorewood! Plan your stops around Shorewood at some great bars and restaurants who can’t wait to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Check out the details below. Sláinte!
Three Lions Pub is hosting a Shorewood Shenanigans Block Party from Noon – 7:00pm on Oakland Avenue with two bars, Irish fare, a Guinness toast at noon (check Three Lions Pub website for more details and signup). The street will be closed to through traffic for music and entertainment beginning at 10:00am and will reopen at 7:45pm. Loud Mouth Soup and Trinity Irish Dancers will perform from 3:30 – 6pm.
Draft & Vessel is celebrating with a variety of Irish beers on tap and live traditional Irish musicians will be playing from 4:00 – 7:00pm that afternoon. Hollyberry Bakery will be bringing a whole bunch of St. Patrick’s day goodies to celebrate as well! Come join in the fun and toast to St. Patrick’s Day!
Cloud Red will be running specials on Paddy’s Punch, $7 for 16 oz. and $4 Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey Shots. Don’t forget Cloud Red also has some amazing food to fill you up as you work your way through Shorewood!
Camp Bar will have $4 Irish Whiskey Shots, $4 Miller Lite drafts and $6 Guinness’s. Stop in to grab a drink to celebrate!
Brat House Milwaukee will have various specials throughout the day and will also be running a free shuttle from 2:00pm – 6:00pm from the Three Lions Block Party down to Camp Bar and Brat House for those who need a lift!

4th Of July Parade Marshals Needed

Each year the Shorewood Foundation honors a Shorewood Resident with the position of Fourth of July Parade Marshal. Email your nomination to the Shorewood Foundation at theshorewoodfoundation@gmail.com by Monday, March 13th.
Please reference “Parade Marshal” in the subject line, and in 500 words or less, share how the person nominated embodies the neighborly spirit in our community or contributes to the quality of life in our village. The Marshal(s) will be chosen by the Shorewood Foundation at its March board meeting. The Marshal(s) must be available on July 4th to participate in the day’s festivities.
