Join us for the 17th (almost) Annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic presented by Colectivo Coffee on Friday, June 25th on the corner of E. Lake Bluff Blvd. and N. Oakland Ave., starting at 11:00am! See the map below for the race route.
We are excited to once again be a host city for the largest cycling event in the country, the Tour of America’s Dairyland, featuring 10 days of competitive racing around Wisconsin and bringing in riders from amateurs to professionals. In addition, our local event includes kids races (littles, middles and tweens) and more fun at the Kensington Square block party with music on the vintage fire truck by Ole Sam and the Teardrops presented by Three Lions Pub!
Streets will begin closing at 8am and will remain closed until about 10pm for clean-up. We would like to remind residents on the course route (see map) that they will not have access to their driveways so we encourage those residents to park outside the course area if access is needed.
There will no parking in the 1700 blocks of Olive, Marion, Lake Bluff and Kensington from Oakland Ave. westward to the commercial alley or end of commercial buildings, whether signs are posted or not. For those located within the interior of the race route, you will have vehicle access at the intersection of Lake Bluff Blvd. & Maryland Ave. in between races. This will be the only point that Shorewood Police will allow vehicle traffic to cross the route during intervals in the race. There will be no parking allowed on the racecourse during the event.
